Solace | Original Framed Painting
This painting was inspired by our backyard garden that provided a place to slow down. The sunsets made us gather outside to stare and wonder at the colors and movement. I wanted to capture the feeling in paint.
It was done with the initial layers in watercolor and then a finished with oil paint that is applied with a palette knife to bring out the textured. Finally the piece is sealed so it can be safely displayed in your home.
Size: An original 8x8inch watercolor and oil painting on panel framed in a gold float frame to 9x9 inches.
